Science notes that 60% of personality is inherited while 40% comes from environmental and other elements. The Big Five Traits are linked to body chemistry and hormones and provide insights about one’s inborn behavioral tendencies and preferences, as well as your natural strengths and blind spots.


Using results from The WorkPlace Big Five Profile™, you will learn about how your own traits tend to affect you when you are at work, potentially helping you or hindering you with your daily work activities. It can also help you understand how similar or not you are to the personalities of other people that you work with every day.

The WorkPlace Big Five Profile™ assessment reveals an individual’s five personality supertraits and 23 sub-traits that simply and clearly explain work-related behaviors found in day-to-day encounters with coworkers, employees, managers and colleagues. Using straightforward, digestible graphs and neutral, work-centric language, the WorkPlace Big Five Profile™ provides the highest level of insight to participants and organizations. It complies with all International Test Commission guidelines and is approved for use in hiring by employment attorneys. 

The WorkPlace Big Five Profile™ is based on the Five-Factor Model (FFM) of personality which defines personality through five distinct dimensions called supertraits—(1) Need for Stability,(2) Extroversion, (3) Originality, (4) Accommodation, and (5) Consolidation. Different from type-based instruments, a five-factor model based assessment provides users with a specific position within a series of personality traits which offers increased precision in interpretation.The FFM has been heavily researched and validated over time, is one of the most psychometrically valid and reliable assessments in the industry, and is considered the gold standard of personality measurement by psychologists and researchers.

Negative Thinking Made Positive: Identifying and Challenging Negative Thinking Habits Available in the online classroom or via live virtual training


We tend to trust what goes on in our heads. After all, if you canʼt trust your own brain, what can you trust? For the most part, this is a good thing—our brain is designed to alert us to danger, attract us to others, and find solutions to the issues we encounter every day. However, there are some occasions when you might second guess what your brain tells you. Itʼs not that your brain is purposely lying to you, it just may have developed some faulty or non-helpful connections over time. In this interactive workshop, you will:

  • Learn about the top 15 negative thinking habits (cognitive distortions) and how they impact the workplace

  • Learn about what provokes certain automatic thoughts to make them easier to address and reverse

  • Learn to recognize the difference between thoughts that are facts and those that are opinions to assist you in challenging the dysfunction or harmful opinions you may have about yourself and others

  • Practice techniques to challenge irrational or illogical thoughts.

  • Receive takeaway exercises to change negative thought patterns into a new positive habits and behaviors, in order to help you achieve your goals
