How are you really feeling?

They said there would be another pandemic and they were right.

The American Psychological Association’s recent “Stress in America” survey revealed an entire country working to navigate their collective trauma. The long-term period of elevated stress due to the pandemic has lead to an increase in harmful, unproductive coping behaviors among Americans, and a secondary pandemic of new and worsening mental and physical health challenges.

So my question to you is, how are you really doing?

  • Do you feel like you living or working in a pressure cooker?

  • Have you actually enjoyed the time working from home, and now worry about readjusting to life at the office when the time comes?

  • Would you like to experience more meaning and happiness in your current role?

  • Are you looking for more harmony between your personal and professional life?

  • Do you want to break through limiting beliefs and procrastination?

  • Are you earning a great income in a career that is frustrating and uninspiring?

  • Would you love to be able to stay more focused on high-yield activities that will get you to where you really want to be?

If you said YES to any of those then read on. . .

Transformation and Relief.

Everything starts with our thinking. So, real transformation in our personal and professional life: (1) starts with increasing awareness, (2) requires a specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, time-bound plan of action, and (3) needs stops along the way to take inventory of our achievements. One place where I begin when helping professionals gain awareness, is by helping them to identify what lies at the intersection of their:

  • PASSION (what others say you’re good at)

  • PURPOSE (what you get excited about)

  • PROFIT (those things that appear on both lists that can also earn you money)

The things hanging out in that intersection make up your sweet spot.

I call this WorkLifeJoy Central.

To be most effective and most happy, you need to spend at least 80% of your professional time in WorkLifeJoy Central. Then, anything else that lies outside of WorkLifeJoy Central must be limited, eliminated, delegated or outsourced.

I’m Dr. Melanie and I help people in business every day to understand the patterns of their thoughts so they can use their thinking strengths to help train and improve in the thinking dimensions that aren’t as strong. Starting with a Nobel Prize-based tool called the Mindscan, we are able to mathematically measure your thinking and your capacity to make value judgments concerning yourself and the world around you. So instead of simply understanding "how" you behave in the world, it reveals how to systematically align your thinking strengths with a business plan in order to achieve measurable success.
