About Dr. Melanie

Hello!

Have you ever felt like, trying to actually balance work and life is like wobbling around trying to balance like a juggler on a unicycle? If that's balance, then I'll pass on that circus act!

I’m Dr. Melanie Gallo – a certified mental health coach with thousands of hours of coaching experience, publisher of the WorkLifeJoy Blog, creator of the Coach2GO digital coaching app, and a Forbes contributor. As a mental health coach and business psychology Ph.D, I provide support and insights in areas including physical, emotional, and mental well-being, personal and professional development, relationships, and communication in both home and work environments.

After decades of work, educational, and of course personal experience, I believe that work-life is not as much about achieving balance as it is about navigating through the mental fog that can disrupt our emotional and physical wellness and ultimately our productivity – it's about feeling WorkLifeJoy.

Psychological science provides the foundation for understanding human behavior in both our personal and professional lives. So using methodologies from social & personality psychology, positive psychology, cognitive psychology, and business psychology, I am able to live out my own passion of helping people navigate through the fog within the space where work and life overlap.
